Biography:

Matthias Billan alias Kodex, born 08.08.1988 in Vienna (Austria), was fueled by dance music even at a young age. Club Rotation was one of his favorite shows, and it did a big deal in influencing what he was listening to. Covering all of the popular trance slammers, Club Rotation got the lively European listening to artists like Darude and Cosmic Gate. In his early teens he gave up the soccer and started on learning to mix gabber and started at the same time with producing.
After a short time he stopped dj'ing and concentrated himself full on producing.

 

After a time of trial and error the organisation speedcore.at asked him to join them and so Kodex started again with dj'ing.
In this time he performed on Partys inside and outside austria.
In the begining of 2007 he stopped dj'ing again to concentrated him self full on school.
After that he swichted permanent to produce Hardstyle.
The endless trial and error session brough him fast to an higher level.
He came in contact with many persons from the hardstyle scene, one of them was Remo (from Wildboyz), with him he produced his first Hardstyle track (Unleash the Power).
After a year of producing Hardstyle he came in contact with Sasha F and produced theire first track "Trauma" who signed on Sigma Records.
Nowadays there are much more Tracks who are ready to rock the dancefloor!
